Self 2 is our natural inner intelligent selves This can really help with clients with limiting beliefs as self 1 is the creator of these. Timothy Gallwey calls this self 1 or interference. We all have someone or something in our heads telling us what to do and criticising us for our performance. Work will become much more enjoyable The discovery of self 1 and self 2 This helps with coaching clients who are fed up with their current job roles to help to identify how they see work and where they are on the performance learning cycle. Learning goals do require a change in capability. Performance goals may not require change in capability. Helping us to have Awareness, Choice and Trust in ourselves Learning and performance I would really recommend this book as it opens a new way of looking at ourselves.
